Kansas City Fashion Photographers

I started Monphotography at the ripe age of 19, I attended UCM for a bachelor degree and started in their photo program but didn't like it. So I finished a Associates in Arts degree and I interned with a wedding photographer for about a year and a half and then decided to go out on my own. Since 2008, I have shot over 300 weddings, over 200 families, couples, products, events etc. I've been published in numerous magazines such as Ea Bride, The Knot, The Black Bride, Lovely Day Journal, The Coordinated Bride Blog. Not only do I just photograph weddings, couples, families, newborns, I have also broadened my horizons by doing fashion photography, fitness photography, and look books for clothing companies. I honestly still love what I do, meeting people, documenting their once in a lifetime kind of love, makes my day so much better.

I started out as a photographer with the urge to tell stories, give people new perspectives and ways of seeing the world. Today I am a commercial, editorial and Architectural photographer, based in West Palm Beac. ​ Combining a wilderness guide training with several years in catalog and image production, I shoot for a great variety of projects, doing commercial, documentary and editorial work.

I studied photography in highschool and college, and have experience with both digital and analog/film work--analog/film being a medium I still shoot in. I have done paid shoots in just about every photo category I can think of. Photography is not only a job for me but also my hobby. While I know it's the paid work that makes the money, I also love trying to make my work art through shooting street, fashion work, and other creative shoot endeavors. This allows me to take the same artistic perspective in the wedding/senior/family type shoots that I do for pay.

I'm a premiere female photographer in the Kansas City Metro area, with the ability to travel based on needs. I love capturing the spirit of any product, pet or person and delivering stand out imagery.
