I am in Oklahoma & my son was traveling to Vegas for a surprise proposal. I knew the proposal would be on video, but I wanted someone to be there to take actual pictures during & after the proposal. How did you get started with photography

I got started with photography while living on the central coast of California. I would take photos with my phone while traveling, hiking or just walking around town. Anything that I saw and found beautiful or interesting I would snap a picture of. Eventually I fell in love with it so much I decided to pursue it as a career.

What do you love about your job?

I love people and faces. I love traveling. I love the freedom and ability to be creative. Basically photography encompasses everything I love and allows me to make a living doing it.

What are some of your favorite places in Las Vegas to take photographs?

In Monterey it was along the beach, in the forests of Big Sur and all along Carmel Valley. The environment was unmatched in beauty. In Las Vegas I love the Strip at night, Red Rock in the mornings and evenings and Mt. Charleston any time.
