At Snappr, we're changing the world by making amazing photography accessible to everyone. Snappr is the largest and fastest growing on-demand marketplace for professional photography in the world, available in more than 200 cities around the world.

We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to build a future where people can capture their special memories easily and affordably. If you have the drive, passion, and collaborative spirit to work with us, let’s revolutionize photography together.

About the role:

The Strategy & Operations Manager will have two primary responsibilities:

1.) You will work on building a cohesive launch strategy for Snappr AI, one our most nascent verticals. To accelerate the launch process you will build processes and templates from scratch by knowing our products and customers inside out. You will build and execute the strategy for increasing the capacity of Snappr AI, across process, product and people.

2.) You will oversee Snappr’s Photoshoot Editing vendor strategy and operations. You will grow the capacity of Snappr’s vendor network by onboarding new vendor partners and will be responsible for improving the performance of vendors across speed, quality, and cost metrics.

This role reports directly to the Head of Marketplace Operations. We expect this role to be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco office.
What you'll do:
  • Strategize – Understand the needs of our partners, prioritize those needs by impact, and create solutions with cross-functional partners
  • Build – Drive the implementation of new processes for increasing capacity and improving speed and quality in the rapidly growing Shoots, Workflows, and Snappr AI businesses
  • Construct - Navigate in an ambiguous environment and bring structure to undefined opportunities. There won’t be playbooks or templates, instead you will create them
  • Analyze – Leverage data whenever possible to inform your hypothesis and convince cross functional partners
What you'll need:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a fast growing and highly cross functional environment
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Passion for process improvement and strong track record of “getting things done” and hitting goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Prior experience at a tech startup preferred
