Was liebst du an deinem Job?

What I love most about photography is being trusted with moments people never want to forget. Whether it’s a wedding day, a growing family, a graduation, or a personal milestone, I get to freeze moments that become part of someone’s story forever. I love meeting different people, learning their personalities, and creating an experience where they feel confident, comfortable, and truly seen. There’s something incredibly rewarding about delivering images that make people emotional, smile uncontrollably, or relive a memory all over again. Photography allows me to combine creativity, human connection, and storytelling into something meaningful — and knowing my work can preserve memories for future generations is what continues to inspire me every day.

Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of shoots, including weddings, events, baby portraits, graduations, memorial services, real estate, food photography, lifestyle portraits, and product photography for businesses and websites. What makes each experience special for me is understanding that every client and every moment is unique. I don’t believe in treating sessions like a checklist — I focus on creating an experience that feels personal and authentic to the people in front of my camera. For weddings, I like to connect emotionally with the bride and groom by asking thoughtful questions about how they’re feeling in the moment, which helps me capture genuine reactions and emotions naturally. During memorial photography, I understand when to step back and document respectfully from a distance. For portraits and graduations, I help clients feel comfortable and confident through guidance and natural posing. No matter the type of shoot, I pay attention to the little details and emotional moments that make the final images meaningful and timeless.

While I haven’t focused heavily on entering photography competitions, my greatest recognition has come from the reactions and trust of my clients. Over the years, I’ve built a strong reputation for capturing emotional, authentic, and timeless moments across weddings, events, portraits, and commercial shoots. My work has consistently earned positive client testimonials and repeat bookings, with many clients referring friends and family after experiencing the quality of both my photography and client experience.
Beyond client work, I also serve as the Photography Team Lead for the DCH Production Team, where I help lead creative direction, coordinate photography coverage, and maintain quality standards across projects and events. In addition, I actively mentor and guide young photographers who are developing their skills and finding their creative voice within the industry. Being able to inspire and support upcoming creatives has become one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
I’ve also been recognized for my attention to detail, storytelling approach, and ability to make clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Every returning client, referral, and photographer I’ve helped mentor serves as a reminder that the work I create genuinely connects with people and leaves a lasting impact.

Fun fact about me is that before photography became my career, I learned film development and darkroom techniques with my dad — so my love for photography started long before digital cameras and Lightroom existed.

And I loved acting in stage plays and was also a choir master during college before I became a creative.
