Was liebst du an deinem Job?

For me, it all comes down to the final reveal. I genuinely love the technical puzzle of photography—whether that means using lighting to elevate a product into gallery-quality fine art or finding the perfect angle to capture a car in still or in motion. But when there are people in front of the lens, none of that technical stuff matters if they aren't comfortable. My favorite thing to do is strip away the pressure of a shoot, create a relaxed vibe, and just let people be themselves. Whether it’s the chaotic energy of a live event, a quiet one-on-one portrait, or a sleek automotive shoot, taking a vision and turning it into an image someone is genuinely proud to share is exactly why I do this.

I’ve shot everything from intimate celebrations to fast-paced corporate summits. What makes each shoot special is how I tailor my technical approach to the specific environment:

- Weddings & Events: For winery weddings and milestones, I blend photography with documentary filmmaking. Using cinema-grade cameras and high-fidelity audio, I seamlessly preserve every vow and laugh while remaining completely unobtrusive.

- Corporate Summits: At high-energy tech events like GDC, I use a documentary style to capture the room's dynamic energy and genuine networking moments without interrupting the flow.

- Studio & Fine Art: Whether shooting low-key portraits or still life, I use precise subtractive lighting and compositing to strip away distractions and create moody, gallery-quality art.

- Automotive On-Location: Whether shooting classic vintage builds, everyday daily drivers, or sleek modern EVs, I love taking them out to coastal trails or mountain roads, chasing the perfect natural light to highlight their unique design against raw nature.

A fun fact about me is that I approach photography with a balance of technical science and creative art. I studied Physics in college before leaning entirely into visual storytelling, recently formalizing my lifelong passion by earning a Certificate of Achievement in Photography.
