Was liebst du an deinem Job?

Photos are magical – they have the power to transport you back to a point in time, a special event in your life. They even allow you to connect with previous generations in your family. I love to think that the images I create now become part of that record. I have a particular passion for making composite images. Starting with an amazing picture and using the magic of Photoshop to create a true piece of digital art.

Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?

I’ve photographed everything from fun family portrait sessions to weddings, events, and commercial shoots for businesses — and the way I make them special is by treating each one like it’s its own little story, not a copy-and-paste photoshoot.
With family portraits, I keep it playful and relaxed so personalities come out (especially with kids). I’ll use simple prompts and games rather than stiff posing, and I’m always looking for those real moments — the laughs, the chaos, the cuddles, the “that’s so them” expressions.

With and events, I focus on genuine moments and the atmosphere — the nerves, the happy tears, the ridiculous dancing — plus the details you put time into but barely get to see on the day. I’ll step in with calm direction when it helps, but most of the time I’m capturing things as they unfold naturally.

With commercial work, I aim for images that feel human and authentic rather than overly “stock”. I’ll plan shots around what makes your business yours — your people, your space, your process — so the photos actually match the brand you’re building.

Across all shoots, what really makes them special is collaboration: I love when clients bring ideas (even the slightly mad ones). I’m always up for trying something creative, whether that’s a unique location, a themed concept, dramatic lighting, or more artistic edits — anything that turns your photos into something personal and memorable.

I have a GCSE in photography ;-) as well as having trained as a professional photographer for a year back in 2011. I'm an Adobe Certified professional for After Effects.

I’m a total coffee nerd – I realised that was true when a friend asked me how many gadgets I own for making the perfect brew. My current favourite is a flat white which I think I have just about mastered. I recently completed a barista training course and got really wired sampling over 50 espressos.
