More about Rhys C....

What do you love about your job?

I love bringing ideas to life and addressing important causes. I find a great sense of purpose and joy with my work.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Most of my work being commercial means that there's usually a strict set of rules I have to follow to stay on-brand or within specific parameters. I get creative with it and introduce props and techniques to level-up the experience and images.
If I'm working with people, the best thing to do is get some music playing and try to make it fun so everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

ROAR Award for Marketing Excellence
Camden Council Australia Day Arts & Cultural Award
Camden Local Business Award Finalist (2021 & 2023)
WayAhead Mental Health Matters Awards Finalist
Camden Council Youth Volunteer Representative

My work has been published and featured by Rolling Stone Australia, Happy Mag, and Taronga Zoo.

A fun fact about this photographer

I considered a career change and almost became a secondary school (high school) teacher in the arts and design department.
