More about rodrigo d....
What do you love about your job?
Photography feels like a passport — it opens doors to people, places, and experiences I’d never have access to otherwise. It lets me step into different worlds, connect with all kinds of people, and see life from unique perspectives. That sense of discovery, connection, and privilege is something I never take for granted. Every shoot is a chance to learn, explore, and be part of something bigger than myself.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve done all kinds of shoots — from portraits of kids and adults to food, fashion, and objects. Each one is different, and that’s what I love about it.
With kids, it’s all about creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere so their real personality can shine through. With people, I focus on connection — making them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. And when I shoot objects or food, I pay close attention to the details: lighting, angles, texture — turning everyday things into something eye-catching and beautiful.
What makes each shoot special is the energy I bring and the story I try to tell through every image.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
While I may not have a shelf full of formal awards, for me, the biggest recognition is being chosen to create photo campaigns for major brands. Over my 25 years, I’ve had the privilege to work with big names like Nike, Coca-Cola, L’Oréal, Prada, and other leading brands. Being trusted to bring their vision to life and deliver powerful images is the greatest honor I could ask for.
A fun fact about this photographer
I’m a trained cook and own a bar deep in the jungle of Brazil! I’ve traveled to over 70 countries, soaking up stories and inspiration everywhere I go. Oh, and I speak German and Swedish fluently — so I’ve got a few languages in my camera bag too!
