¿Cómo empezaste en la fotografía?

I began to pursue photography in earnest as an outgrowth of my hobby and writings on nature as well as a way to raise awareness of local nature. I had a spot in the local newspaper and they wanted photos. After looking into my needs and learning, I bought a Nikon film camera and a few lenses. Soon I was being asked for prints and for use of my photos for publication. I went from a newbie to selling and being published in a year. I also started volunteering for events such as Santa at the Zoo and paid gigs grew out of that.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

I love the integration of technology and art that photography provides. I also like meeting people and helping them. I get into a lot of places the public doesn't see including many beautiful homes as well as a behind the scenes look at restaurants and other businesses. I also like attending events and being part of it by being the photographer.

¿Cuáles son tus lugares favoritos en Palm Bay para fotografiar?

Of course my favorite place to photograph is at the beach. The hour before sundown is best although I have done some at sunrise, which is awesome. I like the old downtown areas of Cocoa Village, Melbourne and Titusville. Out of town a bit Kissimmee Lakefront park is a great place for group photos and not far from Orlando.
