April has shot over 25 weddings and has extensive experience in how a wedding day should flow. Her passion is telling your love story through her work.
April has studied under four mentors and also teaches photography and editing for other photographers.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

I love my job because I love people. I love making connections, getting to know my clients and their stories. Many have since become friends!
Weddings and events are a favorite for me personally because I LOVE the energy! There is just something about being in a room where love and relationships are being celebrated that fills my soul with happiness!

¿Qué tipos de sesiones has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I have done every type of shoot under the sun. From newborns to weddings I have covered it!
To make them special I am a gift giver! Sometimes that comes in the form of my favorite 8x10 sent to you or for wedding clients that might look like his or her tumblers! I have even brought gifts for fur babies! My goal with any gift I give is to show my clients how appreciated they are!

I trained as a hunter/jumper dressage for 6 years when I lived in Maryland. When I came to Louisiana that training turned into working race horses for a living! To this day my love of horses is still strong. I truly think they are some of the most beautiful creatures created!
My favorite food is Nachos! I freaking love nachos if any kind really…..and let’s just be real, so long as salsa is involved!
