¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

I love seeing a different occupation every time I get an assignment. I've photographed open-heart surgery. Making a violin is fascinating. A pork packing plant is totally refrigerated. There's a dynamometer at the end of every car and truck assembly line. Just a couple of months ago, I saw a machine that counts every cell in a microscope slide. And every pizza place is different when you’re standing in the kitchen.

¿Qué tipos de sesiones has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I've done all types of shoots. Environmental portraits are the most rewarding for me as a shooter. The person is in a place that's special to them, and making that link between the subject and their world is the challenge I seek. And when I'm successful, it's a beautiful thing.

Premios, honores y reconocimientos

I was the official photographer for the World Energy Conference when it was held in Detroit. I served as the Michigan Chapter president of ASMP, American Society of Media Photography. I was the lead photographer for TEDxDetroit for 4 years, and I'm currently lead photographer for LifeRemodeled, a non-profit rebuilding Detroit neighborhoods.

I am a Certified Business Communicator, hence the CBC after my name. I've had years of experience in the advertising and marketing field, taken the CBC seminar and passed the test given by the Business Marketing Association. It represents a broad knowledge of the industry I serve, not just pretty pictures.
