Britt is a freelance photographer/videographer with five years of experience in the sports industry. Some of her highlights include covering practice and game-day photos for the Florida Gators (golf, softball, basketball, football), motocross photography, and contracted work as a travel photographer for dance competitions and rodeos.

Shortly after graduating from University of Florida in 2017, Britt moved to Colorado for a change of pace and to challenge herself in a new environment. She truly enjoyed her time in the Rockies and learned a lot from each job that she had (photographer at Vail Resorts, travel photographer for Acentric Video Productions, post-production intern for Roam Media, and production assistant for 9Mind Asylum), but she felt a pull back to the ocean. Once again at home on the east coast, Britt is determined to further build her career in Jacksonville.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

First and foremost, I am a story teller. It may be a bit of the stereotypical only-child syndrome, but I have always been more of a wallflower. It makes me uncomfortable to be the center of attention or, in this case, in front of the lens. While I enjoy portrait work, I specifically like to document feats of athleticism. To me, sports photography captures more than just facial expression. Athletes work tirelessly for days on end to perfect so many different aspects of their trade. To be able to freeze a moment displaying perfect form and tenacity for an athlete is very rewarding for me.

¿Qué tipos de sesiones has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

My work is primarily based in sports, but I have done a few family portraits and BTS photos while working as a production assistant for other projects. In 2017, I worked with travel Photographer Brian Pineda alongside Travel Channel to document filming for the TV show Bert the Conqueror.

I have a cat that I have trained to sit, shake, stand and turn in a circle. Xander is also leash trained, and I have taken him on several hikes in the Appalachian Mountains and the Rockies.
