Emily has been in love with capturing moments since she was a little kid! For the last 10 years Emily has pursued and studied Photography vigorously. She took Photography classes all four years of High School, and by the time she was a Senior she was in a college level (AP) class. Her intent was to go to school to get a BFA in Photography, but unfortunately her family did not have the financial means. So she took matters into her own hands...learning from, and creating with, other artists. As time went on Emily gained more experience, and confidence, in her work. One of her most recent photo's is on the cover of a local Portland publication for an entire year! She has also toured with the band Circa Survive for 3 cities with photos published on the band's social media. In addition to this, Emily also had photos published in Willamette Week and Portland Monthly's Online Magazine.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

Photography is a way of expressing myself as well, and because of that it is very healing for me. I also love meeting new people and providing them with beautiful photos they will cherish forever! It is truly an honor to be able to give people a gift that will let them hold on to an important memory.

¿Qué tipos de sesiones has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I have done a few weddings and many portrait sessions over the years, and I learned that making connections with my clients on a personal level really makes them feel special. It allows them to be comfortable and relaxed with me, so I get more natural photos as a result. Empathy and compassion have gone a long way for me as a photographer!
