¿Qué te gusta de tu trabajo?

I'm a people person, and I love helping people present themselves in their best possible light, and to help them capture a moment in time.

¿Qué tipos de tomas has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I have shot everything from fashion magazine ads, to prints that have been displayed in fine art galleries, to headshots and portraits, to weddings. I'm not sure what is is that makes them special, but I think I have a way of connecting with my subjects that puts them at ease so I can capture authentic images that don't look posed.

Premios, honores y reconocimientos recibidos

A trained journalist and photojournalist, I won a Knight Wallace Journalism Fellowship to the University of Michigan (2015), a full scholarship to the Yale Journalism Initiative as a journalist (2x), and my photography has won awards from the Detroit Institute of Arts, Art Square at Times Square, and Praxis Photo Arts Center, among others.
