Hans Alcindor is a professional award winning photographer with an emphasis in portraiture, photojournalism as well as event photography. His care and love for the people he meets are key to the mysterious and often-times enchanting post production images he creates.

He is a former model turned self taught photographer. He has developed his abilities over the last 6 years photographing with non profit organizations, major charities, and in his Long Island City studio.

Sociable and amicable, you'll be hard pressed to find a photographer with the level of passion and charisma he possesses. Sometimes he'll even throw in a motivational speech with a dash of wit to place you at ease allowing him to capture you in your most natural state.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

I love the interactions and the confidence people have after they've photographed with me. My favorite reactions are the ones where people say "Oh my god, is that really me?" That feeling of knowing I've helped people see themselves in a new light and from a new perspective just makes me feel like magic does exist in the form of photography.

¿Qué tipos de sesiones has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I've done 10 weddings as a lead photographer, and photographed portraits all over the U.S. and Europe as well as Taiwan. The ability to create distinct images in different parts of the world even with language barriers is truly amazing. Pictures tell so many stories, but the stories behind how I've gotten some of them are just as fantastic to share.
