As a photographer based in Christchurch, New Zealand...
Patrick Rose has been journeying the arts of photography for almost 10 years. As of 2017, he started receiving paid work for local tennis organizations, and voluntarily captured the local music vibes within Christchurch. As of 2020, Patrick started to explore weddings, events which he is more than happy to capture from a variety of perspectives and prepared to take extra steps within his work. He's a hard working man covering 4 different jobs and volunteers as a camera operator at a local church.

¿Qué te gusta de tu trabajo?

I enjoy the interactions with my subjects and capturing their moments. In a way photographers are the closest thing to time travelers as we capture a single frame that may or may not be forgotten in later years.

¿Qué tipos de tomas has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

Events (Birthday parties, homecomings, baby showers weddings). One important factor in the industry is communication between you and the clients and it's also important to have some character within the industry as many people prefer colorful personalities.

Premios, honores y reconocimientos recibidos

My photographs have been featured in Metropol Magazine in 2019 for a fund raiser event. I've had images featured on Stuff.co.nz on occasions (Tennis Canterbury related). I was a photographer for an Alien Weaponry Concert in December 2020.
