Rafael is a passionate photographer with experience of more than 7 years. he has worked with different kinds of photography in his country of origin and Australia such as portraits, events, live music, weddings, and pets. he started taking pictures as an amateur photographer with his mom´s film camera when he was 15 years old. he studied digital photography for three combining this passion with his other passion, music.
He decided to explore and learn more, for that reason he decided to travel to Australia to continue his career as a photographer. he studied in Gold coast and after 9 months he moved to Adelaide to continue his journey as a photographer.

¿Qué te gusta de tu trabajo?

What I love about my work is that through photography I can learn stories that I never thought I knew, each human being is a different world with great things to offer the world. I like to communicate with images, more than with words and capture that moment of intimacy that can only be seen through the camera

¿Qué tipos de tomas has hecho y cómo las hiciste especiales?

I have taken photographs of weddings, portraiture, concerts, and pets. What I consider to make them special is that I focus on an excellent combination of light, framing, and that decisive moment where the person in front of the camera feels unique.

two of my great achievements son:
to be part of a photographic book that tells the story of my city, Medellín (Colombia) and to be ranked 3 of the best portrait photography in 2017 in the same city.

Another of my passions is music, I have played guitar for many years and for a time I had my own rock band. I managed to win a music contest when the band was still there. I am a fan of video games, especially for role-playing games.
