I’m a professional photographer with 11 years of photography experience and over 8 years of running my own photography business, Shyann Brinson Photography. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken, with additional studies in Communications, Marketing, and Business. My experience includes portraits, events, branding, graduations, and studio photography.

I’m passionate about creating images that feel authentic, polished, and memorable. I also own and operate a creative studio where I provide photographers and other creatives with a space to bring their ideas to life. Whether I’m working with an individual client, capturing a large event, or helping another creative create, I love using photography to tell stories and create lasting memories.

¿Qué amas de tu trabajo?

What I love most about my job is the ability to connect with people and turn important moments into memories they can keep forever. I love the creative side of photography—bringing an idea to life, finding the right lighting and angles, and seeing everything come together. I also love helping people feel confident in front of the camera and watching their reaction when they see their final images. Every client and every shoot is different, which keeps me inspired and excited about what I do.

I’ve done many different types of photography, from portraits and family sessions to maternity, graduation, events, and more. No matter the type of shoot, I make each session special by taking the time to get to know my clients, understand their vision, and create a comfortable, personal experience. I want every client to feel seen, valued, and connected so their photos reflect their unique personality and the moments that matter most to them.

I have been recognized for my photography through several publications and honors. My work has been featured in a newspaper spread and in Vogue Atlanta. I was also nominated for Photographer of the Year through the Small Business Awards in Augusta, recognizing my work and contributions as a local photography business owner.

A fun fact about me is that I never actually planned for photography to become a career. It started as something I enjoyed in high school, and as more people began reaching out to me for photos, it naturally grew into a business. What started unexpectedly has become something I truly love and have built my career around.
