I love to tell stories, and I love seeing the reaction of my subject to seeing their images come to life.

Beyond cars, I've loved taking headshots of the aspiring student actors at my kids' high school, along with the fast-paced action of photographing high school cheerleading. A recent shoot of Senior Night for the cheerleaders was especially memorable, as I captured precious moments between teammates that can't be recreated.

I've not submitted my photographic work for any sort of awards or honors, but I have been honored as an automotive historian. I've been awarded the silver medal from the Automotive Heritage Foundation for the Best Heritage Motorsports Story in 2020.

I was one of the first people in my high school class to manage to grow any facial hair - sideburns. Thus I was a very amateur Elvis impersonator for a few years in school.
