Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

What I love most about my job is the joy it brings—not just to me, but to the people I work with. Being able to preserve moments that might otherwise fade with time is a privilege. Whether it’s the sparkle in someone’s eyes or the colors of a fleeting sunset, photography is my way of celebrating life’s beauty. I think photographers are like magicians of light, creating something extraordinary out of the ordinary—and there’s nothing more rewarding than that.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I’ve done everything from family portraits to graduation photos and even weddings. What makes my shoots special is the connection I build with my clients. For family shoots, I love making kids laugh—those natural, unposed moments are the ones that truly shine. For events like weddings, I focus on blending into the background to capture candid moments that feel authentic. My goal is to make every shoot relaxed, fun, and tailored to the personality of my clients.

Prix, distinctions et reconnaissances reçus

While I haven’t won any formal awards, one of the most rewarding moments in my journey was helping a UPenn graduate student transform her confidence when I was living in Philadelphia. She had been struggling with self-esteem overall, but after our first photo session, she began to see herself in a new light. Over time, I photographed her birthday, graduation, Chinese New Year, and even her beloved pet cat. Inspired by how beautiful she looked in her photos, she even started learning makeup. Seeing her embrace her confidence and enjoy the process of being captured was the greatest recognition I could ask for.

I’ve always had a passion for travel and exploring new places, but here’s a fun twist: my background is in computer science, and I used to spend hours gaming before I picked up photography. It turns out, the same focus and strategy I loved in games also helped me develop a sharp eye for detail and creativity behind the camera. Now, whether it’s a new city or a new shoot, I see every opportunity as a new “level” to conquer!
