Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

As an Art Director, my job is to come up with the visual look and feel of campaign. With each project comes a fresh new challenge. I am project driven and love taking an idea from scratch, moulding it into something tangible and making it into something I am proud of.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I have had the opportunity to shoot quite a few events including but not limited to engagements, weddings, charity events, concerts, and festivals. I love to capture the universal language of joy, laughter and the raw emotions expressed by all. The photos act not only as a visual reference during these special occasions but also convey the human spirit. I try to be present, mindful, engage with people, hear their stories in order for them to feel comfortable and more natural around me and my camera.

Prix, distinctions et reconnaissances reçus

I submitted an educational photo piece on public hygiene to Translink for their Art on Transit competition. Amongst 500 entries my piece along with 38 others was selected by jury to be reproduced into 700 prints that appeared in buses and trains throughout the Lower Mainland.

During my career as a photojournalist covering live shows I have had the honour of having some of my photos recognized and promoted by various bands on their social media platforms.

In celebration of proudly being Canadian and Canada Day, Yellow Tail hosted a photography competition in partnership with Air Canada where they offered $1000 travel voucher to first place. I was one of the lucky participants that won the competition.

I love to travel and to-date have been fortunate enough to visit 35 countries and counting. One of the craziest things I’ve done on my adventures is running with the bulls in Spain. I am a certified rescue scuba diver and have dived in 7 countries including the Blue Hole in Malta and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
