Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

The best thing about being a professional photographer is meeting new people and creating a timeless snapshot of their life through a single photo shoot. Besides sharing in peoples’ stories, photography allows me to capture special moments in people’s lives and share their story in a way that is honest, artistic and unique. There is truly nothing more satisfying than seeing the smile on my clients’ faces and hearing great feedback once they see their final photos.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I have done many fashion and portrait photo shoots in the Sydney area. To make each and every photo shoot special I try my best to help clients find the right models, clothes, hair and makeup… making sure that everything is perfect before (and during) the shoot is paramount. I send out a mood board spreadsheet to guide what, and how, a photo shoot will run. By doing this, my photo shoots run smoothly and we have a chance to get more creative during the photo shoot. I also help with scouting if it is a location photo shoot. Furthermore, if we are shooting in a studio I can tether to my computer and clients can review their images instantly. This allows my clients to receive the highest quality results because we can make small adjustments as we’re shooting.

My awards, honors, and recognitions really come through the features and publications that I’ve received. My work has been featured in Yen Magazine in 2010, Vogue Italy in 2011, Powerhouse Museum and Fashion Design Studio in 2014, Bride to Be Magazine in 2015, The Daily Telegraph in 2016 and The Australian Newspaper in 2018.

Un fait amusant sur ce photographe

This is slightly embarrassing, but not too long ago I was arriving at a client’s door to present myself 10 minutes earlier than our appointment time. When my client opened the door, he was surprised because I had come 1 hour and 10 minutes early. I then checked my schedule and realized that I looked at my schedule wrong. Oops! At least I was early!
