Hayden Mari has been taking photos and making videos as a hobby for over 10 years. He went to North Idaho College for graphic design. At North Idaho College he took a few video production classes as well as a photography class. After spending the last 4 years as a graphic designer he's rediscovered his love for using cameras. He has recently started his own photography/videography business, Photofilm Productions, in the Coeur d'Alene, ID area. Hayden is focusing on working in commercial product, food, and real estate photography/videography, as well as documentary-style film making.

Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

I love to create. I've always wanted to be an artist, but after spending years as a graphic designer, I still don't feel like one. When I pick up a camera I feel like it's the more correct tool for me to produce the art I want to make. To me, the most important part of art is the story, and a camera is the easiest way for me to tell a story, or help someone tell a story.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I have shot mostly events, and I love getting creative with lights around the event. I've also done a few product and food shoots, some with models and some without. I try to be as detail-oriented as possible, adjusting lights and subjects until I feel like we have the best shot.
