Jun Pinzon is a Philippines based freelance photographer. He resides in Antipolo City, in the provice of Rizal. He has a degree in BS Psychology but decided to pursue a career in photography after a stint in the corporate setting for six years. Beginning in the early 2000, he has been shooting professionally for magazines, production houses, corporate clients and various design firms. He is most comfortable with shooting portraits and food, but with two decades of professional experience, he has extensive experience in product and interior photography as well as events coverage. To keep himself busy during down times, he shoots stock photography and licenses them through the major microstock photo agencies.

Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

Everything about it! For me, there's nothing not to love about photography. Never mind the challenges that I face about getting jobs and assignments, all businesses have that. Photography for me is a lifestyle more than a career.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I have done a lot of portraits, food shoots, interiors and real estate shoots, be it for magazines, agencies and corporate clients. I make it a point to always follow client requirements first then add inputs of my own. If they ask me for a clean, natural looking shots, I'll shoot that first then give options for different type of shots. Clients like it when they see themselves in a different "light".

Prix, distinctions et reconnaissances reçus

I wish I had one but a major (magazine) client of mine (where I take almost all the portraits) have received the Anvil and Quill awards in 2014, a Stevie and two more Quill awards this year.

Un fait amusant sur ce photographe

Aside from photography, I am a music lover and was a drummer for a church band for 10 years. I've been dabbling in videography for the past year and have found it fun. I think this is the next step in my career.,
