I started Monphotography at the ripe age of 19, I attended UCM for a bachelor degree and started in their photo program but didn't like it. So I finished a Associates in Arts degree and I interned with a wedding photographer for about a year and a half and then decided to go out on my own. Since 2008, I have shot over 300 weddings, over 200 families, couples, products, events etc. I've been published in numerous magazines such as Ea Bride, The Knot, The Black Bride, Lovely Day Journal, The Coordinated Bride Blog.
Not only do I just photograph weddings, couples, families, newborns, I have also broadened my horizons by doing fashion photography, fitness photography, and look books for clothing companies.
I honestly still love what I do, meeting people, documenting their once in a lifetime kind of love, makes my day so much better.

Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

Honestly I love freezing moments in time. The best part is learning my clients appreciation for those moments frozen in time. I love being able to document a young and growing love and then taking photos of their babies, then watching these babies grow to adults. It's such a wholesome experience to meet people and feel like their family.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

Every holiday season I will host mini sessions. Valentine's day, Easter, Mother's Day, Fall and Christmas. Each mini marathon session, I will create an epic theme. My favorite christmas session we had an old 1940's ford truck, bright red. Stuck some presents, a tree, pretty blankets and some milk and cookies. The kids just adored the scenery and I will cherish this session for the rest of my life.

I'm a shorty, standing a tall 4'10. I will not let this bother me though, I embrace it, people love it and not to mention I like climbing on things!
