Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

I enjoy working with people. I enjoy taking up the endlessly unique chalenges of each shoot, of getting to know someone, so they can relax in front of the lens, or of seeking out the moments and angles that make a shot the really communicates an event or brand.

Each day is different and each shot a chance to excel and provide excellent results for my clients.

Quels types de séances avez-vous réalisés et comment les avez-vous rendus spéciaux ?

I have done so many different shoots from product and food, through real estate and interiors to corporate events and wedding. On many occasions I have checking out unique technical aspects required by a new type of shoot I am undertaking. However, I make them special by staying in the moment and being part of what is going on. I allow people to relax by being unobstrusive and a part of the crowd at the same time.

At a shoot I was shooting some formal shots of a foreign president, visting the UK. He appeared, bored, verging on grumpy. I said 'You've done this before haven't you'. The following shots had a gentle, amused smile which showed off his warmth and personality.

Prix, distinctions et reconnaissances reçus

In 2023 I was awarded Best Commercial Photographer at the Welsh Enterprise Awards.

I was category winner in the Architecture section of the Chromatic Awards in 2023 and have had my photos exhibited in galleries around Europe and the USA. I have also had images published in print media and online.
