I've been a full time freelance photographer ever since graduating from Art school in 1985. I've shot everything from high school football when I was starting out to very large product catalog projects spanning months of shooting. Also, I have photographer literally thousands of corporate headshots. As long as people have heads, I think I’ll stay busy!
My latest passion, and what seems like a very hot trend, is food photography. I still have my regular marketing clients, but the food photography is relatively new and exciting and I am really enjoying it.

There are two things that I've taken away from my experience as a professional photographer.

I do not participate in contests for photography. My satisfaction and my recognition come from my repeat clients. One as long as 25 years. I will be heading there today after writing this.
