The world has enough photographs of anonymous lighthouses on an unspecified shore - I love helping people tell stories about themselves and their brands. On a good day, I'm able to provide companies and individuals with the collateral they need to succeed. On a great day, I capture an image of someone that perfectly portrays how they want to the world to see them, often for the first time.

The things that take a shoot from "acceptable" to "wowza" generally all happen before the shoot. It's about the research, the location spotting, and the meticulous preparation to make sure you're able to get your client an image that's better than they could of hoped for. When done right, it looks effortless, even though it's anything but.
