Often an immersive mixture of perspective & illusion, he is keen on wrapping his knowledge of light & technology into molding, shaking, and sometimes flipping how we experience the world. With precision rivaled only by the masters, Charles is often found on set playing with light like a round of billiards and mentally painting the composition before a single shutter capture. If the next frame isn’t telling a story or sharing a new angle of life, it isn’t taken.

Sharing new vantage points has been essential throughout my life. Letting the world see the world through my eyes [or my lens] grants access to my understanding of the universe. I see the beauty & wonder in people and situations, while painting a canvas which sparks dialogue, introspection, and empathy.

I have executed a wide range of shoots: fashion/editorial, headshots, branding, lifestyle, product, family, landscape; but my specialty is high-fashion. I bring that lens to all of my work, creating drama & telling stories in each image. My understanding is I am not like others, thus everyone will not like my style of shooting; but for those who appreciate what I bring to your final product, images & experience alike, there is no comparison.

I was an electrical engineer in a former life. The technical aspects of such an education are invaluable in my photographic pursuits. It is also where I impress my clients. My attention to detail is prominent, my problem-solving skills are always working to streamline the experience, and my sales engineer experience ensures the client gets what they want [whether they begin understanding this or not] in the timeframe they need [whether that requires modifications to the campaign timeline or not].
