Erik Herrera is an experienced photographer who has worked both domestically and Internationally with clients mainly in SoCal and Mexico City. He has 10 years under his belt as a photographer and stepped into it professionally 3 years ago. Erik has worked under many rigorous and difficult conditions from high temperature festivals in Mexican deserts, low light in large scale performance arts pieces, or intense photojournalism following protesters that nearly riot, Erik tries everything he can to obtain the needed images. His love for the medium comes from a desire to give a memorable image you can always look back on and remember the details outside of the frame.

I love to help people achieve a vision, or even just nice pictures of the family. As long as the goal is met and the pictures bring you the feelings you had hoped for then I've done my job and couldn't ask for more.

I love the work I do with artists because of the simple fact of them wanting to captured for who they truly are. These are my favorite because we basically hangout until their personality shines through and allows to be photographed.

I am self taught. After many photos, much travel, and constant research into modern methods, those ten years of shooting have resulted in the camera becoming an extension of my body.
