One of the things I love about being a professional photographer is when I drive down a road or walk by a shop and I see one of my photos being displayed as a banner or poster. It really does put a smile on my face and it gives me a great deal of satisfaction and a sense of pride to have my photos displayed like this. Similarly, capturing those precious moments at a wedding, christening, new born or a family portrait gives me great satisfaction when I see my clients face turn from one of anticipated excitement to one of uncontrollable emotion when viewing the images for the first time.

Each genre requires a particular skill set to get the most out of a photoshoot. As a photographer you have to have good people skills and a good understanding of how to manipulate light that complements the subject you are photographing, once mastered taking the actual photo is the easy bit.
