Cosa ami del tuo lavoro?
The absolute best part of being a photographer is combining my client's artistic vision with my own. I love it when the result of collaboration turns out to be a meaningful new creation that surprises the client and myself. I never tire of the feeling I get when sitting down at the computer and looking at the shots I took of an event for the first time. It's like a childhood Christmas. I'm elated when I see the pictures and excited to see what I can do with them. It's a daunting challenge, but the most rewarding one, to take those initial images and create the client's vision from them.
Che tipi di servizi hai fatto e come li hai resi speciali?
Whether I'm doing studio portraits or outdoor family portraits, I like to use my environment to make each shoot unique. In the studio, I use props occasionally. For instance, I had a model hold an oversized lollipop like a baseball bat to lighten the mood. Also, I had a model eat a donut between poses once, and the shot turned out to be one of the best. Family shoots are fun to do outdoors. I took my favorite family picture at a lake. The child loved the water and kept trying to run to the lake. The mother was holding him back with a look of concern on her face, and the child had a happy, mischievous demeanor. The sun and lake were in a perfect position, and the image worked out incredibly well. I love candid shots because of authenticity. The famous rock 'n' roll photographer Bob Gruen said, "The best pictures are taken the moment before the pose or the moment after the pose."
