Michelle Logan, the owner of Urban Shutter Bug Photography, took her first black and white photography class at the age of 14! She spent her time in class learning how to use a 35 mm film camera as well as learning how to develop black and white and color film. Outside of class, her grandfather taught her how to use his medium format camera. Michelle spent the next ten years practicing and finding her niche within photography.

I have spent the last sixteen year meeting strangers that have turned into family and friends. Being able to travel to places I probably would have ever seen and meeting individuals that have allowed me to document their biggest life moments are the best part of my job!

I walk into every session with a sense of calm and a set of questions to relax who ever is in front of my lens. A large part of my success as a photographer is being able to get my clients to relax and be themselves. I have photographed over 500+ weddings, corporate events, hundreds of families, as well as musicians and models.
