The creative process excites me—from conceptualizing a shot, playing with light and composition, to the final editing touches that bring an image to life. I find immense satisfaction in the artistry involved and the continual learning that photography demands.

Building connections with my clients is another aspect I cherish. I love getting to know their stories, understanding their vision, and working collaboratively to create images that resonate deeply with them. The trust they place in me to capture their special moments is incredibly rewarding.

I've had the privilege of covering a variety of unique and exciting shoots, each with its own set of challenges and rewards. Here's some of my recent highlights

24-Hour Ultra-Marathon: Covering a 24-hour ultra-marathon was an exhilarating experience. To capture the determination and endurance of the runners, I focused on the intense emotions and the physical toll of the race.

Dirty Mud-Fun-Run: The mud-fun-run was all about embracing the chaos and having fun with it. To capture the essence of this messy event, I positioned myself in strategic spots where participants were most likely to get splattered and soaked.

Teen-Pride Ball: The Teen-Pride ball was a celebration of individuality and self-expression. I focused on capturing the colorful outfits, joyous expressions, and energetic atmosphere. To make the photos special, I used vibrant lighting and playful angles to reflect the festive mood.

A fun fact about me is that I originally hail from New Zealand, where I developed my love for photography amidst the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife of the country. Now living in Virginia, I bring a bit of Kiwi flair to all my photo shoots, combining the natural beauty and adventurous spirit of New Zealand with the rich history and vibrant culture of the Shenandoah Valley.
