Amy Wolf is an Austin native who found her passion for photography in a high school journalism class. There she learned the basics for composition and won several academic awards for photography in journalism. In college, she diverted her attentions and pursued a degree in linguistics with a minor in psychology. After college, Amy's love for photography never died and she started working for a local portrait studio. There she learned basics of studio photography and later decided to embark on her own. She now is a full time freelance photographer specializing in portraits and event photography.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love bringing out the best in people. It's always really fun when a client looks at their image and is impressed with how good they look. That is my favorite part.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

For engagements in particular, I enjoy hearing about the couple and how they met and figuring out a place that means something special to them. For one engagement, the soon to be groom said how he really wanted to propose at Enchanted Rock but the weather didn't workout for them the day that he proposed. When he told me that I suggested that we recreate that moment the way it should of happened, and so we did. It was a beautiful session with the sunset behind them.
