After earning a bachelor's degree in photography back in 2010, Bruce began pursuing photojournalistic projects. One day his mum suggested I photographing a wedding. Bruce thought it was a terrible idea, but he was very wrong. Always listen to your mom!! It turned out he loved it and hasn't looked back! Eight years later, he's still as passionate about wedding and portrait photography as ever. Bruce still gets excited before every session thinking about the possibilities.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

What do I love about being a photographer. That is like asking, what do you love about your child? I could list a million little things. As an artist, I take great satisfaction in capturing an image that uniquely captures my subject's beauty, be it a bouquet or a bank executive. As a person, it is simply making another person happy through my work.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

Though I love wedding and portrait work above everything else I can use my skills with a wide range of subjects. In product photography, I imagine a classical painter as I arrange the elements of the image. When photographing corporate events I use my wedding photography skills to show the attendees in their best light. No matter what the subject or genre there is a story to be told and something beautiful to reveal and that is what I am after.
