Honestly, my passion for photography started out of necessity. As any Graphic Designer out there, I always need original artwork, specially photos. At first I thought it was easy, just point and shoot, but once you get involve in cameras, lenses, subjects and lights, the need for knowledge needs to be tame. So while working on my BFA and Graphic Design AD at Texas A&M I took as many Photography classes I could. Ever since, I've been photographing everything on my way: people, animals, clothes, food.. you name it, I've shot it. I love to capture the realness out of everything, the texture in trees, the movement in the hair, the pouty mouths during family shoots, the little flower girls running away from the altar... all of it, life

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

Most of my jobs are weddings, proposals, maternity, events and engagements.. so I usually feel like in a Happy Place Limbo. There's always a celebration going on and since you are not directly involved, it gives you the opportunity to just enjoy it and capture the good memories for everybody else. Is the best job in the entire world!

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

At this point, I've done pretty much everything. I always try to meet my clients before the shoot to make them feel more comfortable and to get an idea of what they want out of the session. Their time is precious to me and I'm fully committed in making my client happy with the results. I provide ideas for setting, locations, props.... have even dance for the kids hahaha. When you enjoy what you do, it truly doesn't feel like a job... I just get to recreate dreams and record memories for people.
