Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love that I have the power to preserve memories in such a beautiful way. Life moves so fast and sometimes its so hard to remember the most important parts. Whether it is a couple about to start their life together, a growing family, or an independent man or woman just trying to be themselves - they deserve to be remembered. I always try to capture my subjects in a way that really represents who they are and the emotions they feel every day. I love knowing that my clients will be able to look back at my pictures and feel love for themselves.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I offer all of my wedding clients an engagement session a few months before the wedding. I absolutely love doing these because its a chance to capture real, raw emotion between two people who are madly in love. Sure, you get that on the wedding day - but it's not quite the same because everything is rushed and gusts are usually looking on, making the couple less relaxed. During an engagement session I try to gauge how the couple usually interacts with each other - whether they are fun and playful, or emotional and romantic. I give them prompts based on my assessment or have them play games to keep them from getting stiff.

I keep 'The Office' on in the background while I cull and edit my photos. As a result I've seen every episode at least 4 times. I also have a cat named Shadow and play the guitar!
