Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?
I love expressing my creativity through photography. It's amazing when a client entrusts me to create a unique and creative portrait for them. I love the collaborative aspect of portraiture. As a photographer I guide and direct my models and clients through each pose, for every frame, however when the energy of both photographer and subject come together that's when true magic happens. I love creating an atmosphere that lets the client open up and that then allows me to capture their true personality. It is in these moments when, by virtue of collaboration, both photographer and subject have created something one could not have done without the other.
Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?
I have photographed models for their professional portfolios. I always tailor the shoot to their fashion choices and create a unique set up for that person. With any portraiture session, be it for graduates, business headshots, models etc., I always have a laugh with my clients and get to know them, play their favorite music and keep the atmosphere light and fun. This is a time for play as much as work. The more relaxed they are the more confident they become and then the really great material comes out.
