Originally from Bogota Colombia and currently based in Sydney Australia. Estefania is an artist with a BA in Visual Arts and Design and a certificate IV in photo-imaging built on a diverse background of creative studies including audiovisual media. Over the last few years Estefania has gained valuable experience as a contractor photographer for Airbnb and worked as a creative director for a boutique design agency in Bogota, Colombia. Her work has been showcased at the Latin American Film Festival and in D'arles, France at the everyday Colombia exhibit she has had the opportunity to have won the first prize for the international women's day art prize run by the Randwick city council. At the same time Estefania is always seeking to rediscover and further develop my passion and instinct in creative media. Her specialties include interior, architecture, portraiture and lifestyle and documentary photography.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love being able to capture the essence of time and space in one single moment. Saying that, though photography I feel I have the ability to communicate in a visual way and perpetuate time with images. I also love interacting with people and being given the opportunity to create and communicate from my very own personal perspective.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I consider myself quite versatile in photography, I've done events, birthday celebrations, weddings, travel and documentary and mainly real estate and interior photography. Being a visual artist and having had and artistic education I believe I can express myself in a way that is outside the square. I like to think, and do things in a way that is unconventional and I am always trying to aim in having my own style.

Prijzen, onderscheidingen en erkenningen ontvangen

This year I was chosen to exhibit a the encontres D'Arles in France as part of a everyday Colombia exhibit on documentary photography. Also my work has been showcased at the Latin American in 2013 and the International women's day art prize run by the Randwick council.
