Gabe has been a professional photographer for 7 years. After getting his degree in Photojournalism, he was hired to photograph a major European Music Festival as an official staff photographer. He has been a part of this crew for 3 years. In the meantime he started covering other corporate events and conferences. He was also the official photographer of an independently organized TEDx conference for 3 years.
In 2015 Gabe has moved to Chicago and started working for a portrait photography studio while still working as a freelancer to photograph events and weddings. He has covered numerous events at prestigious locations as the exclusive photographer.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I like to think of photography as a superpower. I am able to freeze a fraction of a millisecond and turn it into an everlasting memory. That's something that will never stop inspiring me.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I always strive to make my subjects comfortable and have a positive atmosphere to any shoot I'm doing, whether it is a headshot or an engagement session.

Back when I was more involved with photojournalism I've won a few awards as a student and I was one of the finalists for a National Photojournalism contest.
