A photographer since childhood, I was originally taught by my father and eventually took photography and darkroom classes. I was one of the photographers for my high school paper and later took portrait and product photos for various companies where I was employed.

When I felt that digital camera image quality rivaled film, I purchased my first digital camera and began learning to edit images in Photoshop. Since 2004, I have done portrait, model and product photography for multiple Louisville people, businesses and magazines.

I love that every day, I am meeting new people and photographing a different subject in various locations. It is challenging, rewarding and never boring.

I grew up in Louisville, but different career paths have taken me to Fort Myers FL, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Sacramento CA and Knoxville TN. Though the weather is sometimes questionable, Louisville is by far my favorite.
