Meer over Haroun M....
Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?
To create using light whilst also interacting with people.
I have had the opportunity to be fully saturated in the world of photography. Being photographed as part of my job has given me an insight into the other side of the lens. I now feel that that photography is a mirror and I can see myself reflected in everything I see through the viewfinder.
Photography is a journey an adventure that has no end it is a teacher helping me to see and constantly look at the world and ultimately at myself. Anyone can take a picture, but this is not for me I want to see what only the light can reveal. This is what I love about Photography it is not a job.
Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?
That's an interesting question, well sticking with my philosophy my process is very important and that is connecting with the subject.
Many times I get feedback on my portraits people either saying about others or the person I am talking to in the portrait; you really captured the person Or I can see them, they look like they looking at me. Those 20 years as a model looking into the lens I have been there there is something behind having that experience. There must be a connection no connection no magic.
Fashion is a little different it's working with space it's moving the space under the light.
I am putting a story for a Bikini Brand the color pallet is somewhat pastel with clean lines think Scandinavian clean lines meet the 50s, beach babe. Researching the brand gave me a lot of intel on how I wanted to proceed. And I found the best way to make anything special is to love what you are doing with sincere intention can be spotted by the most human of humans.
My client is important to me it's their brand and I would like to interpret their vision.

Een leuk feitje over deze fotograaf
I am not sure if this can equate to a fun fact about myself but here goes.
The fact before I started modeling I was a barefooted Rasta Hippie selling Rasta paraphernalia cutting my hair and walking the runway in Paris for Hermes. Now I love shoes and fashion. The contrast between these two worlds often puts a smile on my face. The Music The weed the lifestyle are so the opposite. Now I wear shoes and don't smoke, I hear life in the music all that I was is why I am today.
