Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love meeting people. Photography is unique in the way that it gives the photographer a kind of backstage pass to the inner worlds of all kinds of people. I enjoy documentary/journalistic type work, because–like a journalist–I enjoy getting behind the scenes. I also make lots of friends because I have a genuine interest in the lives of others.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

One of my stand-out shoots was a commercial testimonial shoot for a program that helps the families of autistic children. There were several children on-set with special needs. When the production staff got overwhelmed with managing the talent, I jumped in and kept the kids entertained and engaged by playing games. I treat any person-to-person interaction with the same consideration, because good photos come from a relaxed and positive environment.
