Julie Anderson picked up a camera a the age of six thinking this is the most amazing thing. She thought other 6 years olds were doing the same thing. It was when she was fifteen that things changed the moment she looked down the lens of her dad's Pentax camera. Julie went on to earned a degree in Photojournalism and began shooting for local newspapers. In 2011, she opened up her own photography business to capture the authentic and raw emotions of events (weddings, rites of passage, etc). She also developed a love for shooting portraits, real estate, food, and travel. She truly believes this is what she was born to do!

I have a documentary/lifestyle approach to my imagery that offers a texture that is unique and rarely duplicated. I use ambient light until I can't because it tells the story with the greatest amount of authenticity. I have shot weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, graduation, senior portraits, real estate, travel, and landscape.
