Kelly has had a camera in hand since she was 8-years-old. She was always curious about the world around her, and wanted to tell stories through images. Her grandparents on both sides were also photographers, so she learned a lot from them.

She turned professional after completing a year long project her senior year in high school, started her own business, and then eventually went onto study at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she earned a BFA in photography. Kelly's portfolio was featured in the Spring Show her senior year in college, and has been featured in various publications. She has been able to travel throughout the United States and Canada to create beautiful images for her clients

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love to be the one that gets to document the most important moments of someone's life. I love to tell their story through imagery. Whether its a marriage proposal, a newborn baby, a wedding, a senior in high school, or a documentary project. I love to celebrate what makes humanity beautiful with my camera.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I have done many family photo sessions. I love to make them special by getting to know the family a little beforehand, and then having a good time with them during the session. Cracking jokes, letting one of the kids take a picture with my camera, anything to make them appreciate being together.
