What I love most about this work is the shift in perspective. There is something uniquely rewarding about taking a familiar landscape—a Lowcountry marsh, a new neighborhood, or a family home—and revealing its hidden symmetry and beauty from behind the lens.

Beyond the technical thrill of finding the perfect shot, I’m driven by the impact of the final image. Whether I’m helping a realtor close a deal with a stunning hero shot or providing a developer with a bird's-eye view of their progress, I love the blend of precision and creativity required to turn a "normal boring scene" into a compelling story.

Ultimately, it’s about capturing that "wow" factor that you just can’t get from missing the details.

I’ve had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, and I approach each one with the goal of turning a standard visual into a high-end cinematic experience. Here are the types of shoots I’ve done and how I make them stand out:

Residential & Commercial Real Estate: I don’t just take "top-down" photos of a house. I make these special by finding the "hero angle"—the specific height and perspective that highlights the property’s relationship to the surrounding landscape, like the nearby water or the neighborhood layout. I use professional post-production to ensure the colors are vibrant and the architectural details are crisp.

Construction Progress & Property Surveys: These are about precision. I make them special by providing consistent, high-resolution documentation that allows developers to see their projects from a perspective they can’t get anywhere else. It’s about combining technical accuracy with a clean, professional presentation.

Cinematic Landscapes (The Lowcountry): This is where my passion for the South Carolina coast really shines. I make these special by timing my flights with the "golden hour" to capture the natural symmetry of the marshlands and waterways. I focus on creating art, not just a recording, by using slow, cinematic drone movements that tell a story of the environment.

Weddings & Special Events: For events, I focus on the scale of the celebration. I make these special by capturing the "big picture"—the beautiful venue layout, the outdoor ceremony from above, and the energy of the crowd—providing a unique vantage point that ground-based photographers simply can't reach.

Automotive & Community Events: I’ve documented high-energy events like the "Jax Wax" car meets. I make these special by using aerial angles to show the sheer scale of the event and the patterns formed by the cars, giving the organizers professional promotional material that feels modern and dynamic.

What truly makes every shoot special is my commitment to professionalism and safety. Being FAA Part 107 licensed and fully insured means my clients have peace of mind. Beyond the flight, I spend significant time in post-production, using industry-standard tools to color grade and edit every frame so the final product isn't just a file—it's a polished piece of media that provides a competitive edge.
