Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?
There are a few things I love about this job. The first is meeting people. I'm a natural-born introvert, but this job makes me get out there and meet people, and as it turns out, I really like meeting new people.
The second thing I love is getting the shot. It doesn't matter if it's a house or a couple in love there is always that one image from every shoot that I can just stare at for hours.
The last thing, and the thing most photographers will probably say is telling the story. Everything has a story and I love being able to make it visual.
Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?
I mostly shoot houses. I've photographed hundreds of them in the past few years and I've learned that to make them each special you have to really listen to the people who live there. They may not realize it, but they can tell you a lot about what makes the house special to them and the features they are most proud of. I always make sure to pay a little extra attention to those things.
