Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

I love the storytelling aspect of photography. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I find that to be true. Photography allows me to capture special moments in people's lives and share their stories in a way that is honest, artistic, and unique. I enjoy the challenge of finding beauty in everyday scenes and the satisfaction of continually learning and improving my skills. Whether it's the stunning landscapes of Colorado or the vibrant life in Seattle, each photo is an opportunity to connect with the world and the people in it.

Welke soorten shoots heb je gedaan en hoe heb je ze speciaal gemaakt?

I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of shoots, including events, portraits, family sessions, newborn photography, and real estate. I'm also currently shooting a short documentary film for a local family-owned hotel. What makes each of these shoots special is my sensitivity to how light interacts with each scene. I spend time observing and understanding the environment before pressing the shutter, ensuring that every shot reflects my unique vision. This careful attention to detail allows me to capture images that are not only technically sound but also infused with a personal touch that makes them truly special.

Prijzen, onderscheidingen en erkenningen ontvangen

I have participated in several photography contests, including being part of the photography exhibition 'Human = Nature?' held at the 'Artjuna' space in Goa, India, in April 2023. This exhibition was organized by a collaboration between 'Ahimsa·Lab' and 'Aesthetic Hunters.' While I haven't won any awards yet, I'm hopeful that my work with Snappr will lead to recognition in the future.

When I lived in a mountain town, a wild fox would visit my deck every day, and I often photographed her. One day, I discovered that my neighbor had been doing the same and had even created an Instagram profile for the fox! It was hilarious to find out that our local wildlife had a social media presence.
