Meghan spent her formative years growing up in Rhode Island, studying art, photography and painting. Upon graduation in 2001 she moved out West to sunny Los Angeles and spent the next 10 years working as a top-notch photo retoucher for major brands, photographers and publications. In 2009 she moved to the glorious Pacific Northwest and built her photography business from the ground up.

Her contemporary style is now and of the moment, resonating with both the youth culture and professionals with a timeless connection to the fine art world. Her bold imagery is edgy, communicative and strong. Composition and use of light help to shape the story of the individual. Meghan seeks to showcase the beauty of the human experience through her lens. The one thing that we all have in common is that we each have an individual human experience which is solely our own. Life, loss, love and the human condition are themes which drive her and inspire her to keep making images.

Wat vind je het leukst aan je werk?

Being a photographer is closest we can hope to get to being real magicians. A split second in time captured forever. I love looking through the viewfinder, composing a shot and pressing the shutter. Its like taking a piece of the fabric of time itself forever preserved. I also connecting with people and helping them feel their most authentic and beautiful self. As the photographer it is my job to make sure that they feel great both during the shoot and looking at the photographs after the shoot.

I have done a wide variety of shoots from working with kids, products, animals, models, athletes and the elderly.
